NIST-Traceable Calibration
All of our instruments come with a calibration certificate showing their traceability back to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) measurement standards. This traceability is recognized by the International Bureau of Weights and Measures and National Metrology Institutes around the world.
CE Declaration of Conformity
Alicat instruments that bear the CE mark comply with the requirements of the ROHS Directive 2011/35/EU and the EMC Directive 2014/30/EU.
REACH Declaration of Conformity
Alicat instruments that bear the CE mark comply with the REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulation, as outlined by the European Parliament. These products do not contain any Substance of Very High Concern (SVHC).
UKCA Declaration of Conformity
Alicat instruments that bear the UKCA mark comply with the essential requirements of The Electromagnetic Compatibility Regulations 2016 Directive and The Restriction of the Use of Certain Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulations 2012 Directive.
RoHS Declaration of Conformity
Alicat instruments that bear the CE mark comply with the European Union’s Restriction of Use of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) Directive 2015/863/EU.
Alicat instruments that bear the EFUP label are China RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant. China’s Administrative Measure on the Control of Pollution Caused by Electronic Information Products, sometimes called China RoHS 2, restricts the use of specific substances including lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium and certain halogenated flame retardants such as PBB and PBDE in electrical and electronic equipment.
Conflict-Free Minerals Statement
Alicat Scientific does not directly purchase any conflict minerals from any source and does not knowingly procure any product containing conflict minerals. We encourage our suppliers to adopt similar policies and management systems with respect to conflict minerals.
CSA/ATEX Certification
Our ATEX Class 1 Zone 2 certified devices are approved for use in environments where ignitable gases are present.
DEKRA ATEX Certification
Our ATEX Intrinsically Safe IS-Max and IS-Pro devices are approved for use in potentially explosive environments. Here are the related certifications and control drawings:
ISO 17025 Certification
If any Alicat instrument requires ISO 17025 calibration, Alicat will perform the calibration through trusted 3rd-party calibration services. Upon calibration of the Alicat device, the customer receives the standard Alicat NIST-traceable calibration documentation as well as a 17025 certificate of conformity provided by the 3rd-party. 17025 calibrations are available with L.A.B. or A2LA accreditation.
Oxygen Cleaning
Alicat devices ordered with oxygen cleaning (OXC appears in the part number) will be cleaned in accordance with ASTM G93, verification Type I, Test1, Type 2, Test 1 & 2, Level C and are compliant with CGA4.1.
PROFINET Certification
Alicat’s instruments with PROFINET have been certified conformant to the PROFI standard.
